At Delamere each class has a designated communication iPad. We use an app called TD Snap which offers a suite of eye gaze, touch and switch enabled pages to meet different communication needs and preferences. TD Snap enables our children to combine words and symbols in order to communicate effectively. This includes, children making requests, commenting on what they see and hear, making choices, structuring simple sentences and expanding their vocabulary.Â
We have started a TD snap lunchtime club which encourages children to extend their use of TD Snap using highly motivating items.
