Damaris was supported to visit HOME gallery in Manchester with two of her peers to see the artwork she has displayed there as part of the open exhibition. Her work was made using felt tip pens and a photograph on a lightbox. When asked how she felt to have her artwork displayed in a public gallery she said, ‘I feel proud’. All the children spent time looking at the different pieces of work and chose what their favourites were. It was great to see such diverse and innovative ideas and support the children to visit somewhere new – they seemed excited by the experience.
